WHAT ARE THE  SIDE EFFECTS OF DIFLUCAN?

The most common side effects from single-dose Diflucan include headache (13%), nausea (7%), and abdominal pain (6%). With oral Diflucan, there is the possibility of increased risk of side effects compared with creams. In rare instances, serious effects on the liver or serious allergic reactions were reported. To prevent serious heart-related side effects do not take Diflucan if you are taking PROPULSID. If you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting or rash, or any effects not listed above contact your physicians or health-care provider and seek IMMEDIATE medical attention.

WHO SHOULD NOT USE DIFLUCAN ?

• Diflucan is CONTRAINDICATED if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, taking PROPULSID, oral hypoglycemic agents, or Dilantin (phenytoin), asthma-medication (see contraindications on next page for complete list).
• Diflucan is CONTRAINDICATED in anyone with liver disease or renal disease or impairment of renal function.
• Diflucan is CONTRAINDICATED in severely immunocompromised patients or patients with HIV  (AIDS) unless under direct supervision of their physician.

  Under NO circumstance should anyone under 18, anyone who is pregnant or nursing, anyone who is HIV positive take Diflucan unless prescribed by your own personal, regular physician.
